Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Samuel Boadu says lots of injuries prevented the club from having a good season.
Boadu saw his side finish 6th in the Ghana Premier League and that he believes is not good enough.
After their 4-1 defeat to RTU on the final day of the league, he attributed their poor season to injuries.
“The injury problem, because lots of players in the first team got injury, Salifu Ibrahim, Addo Sowah and Nurudeen Abdul Aziz. It got to a point Barnieh was not feeling well and traveled, but I think this is the team we had to depend on and that cost us”
Real Tamale United secured their place for next season’s Ghana Premier League after an emphatic 4-1 win over Hearts of Oak in Accra.
The Tamale-based side had to rally from behind to pick up the important 3 points at the Accra Sports Stadium they ensure their stay in next season’s Premier League.
