Former Black Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan has revealed what he needs to do before he joins Asante Kotoko.
The 36-year-old before his move to Legon Cities before the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season was linked to the Porcupine Warriors but the move could not materialize.
Gyan who has been without a club for almost a year says he will try to get back to shape and join the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with 442.com he said :”I support Kotoko, it’s my plan to join them but as I always say, you can’t have the talent and not be ready. The most important thing is to get back in shape then finally decide to play for Kotoko”
Asante Kotoko Nana Yaw Amponsah has stated that the club’s doors are always open to legendary striker Asamoah Gyan.
The former Al Ain and Sunderland ace is the country’s all-time leading goal scorer with 51 goals for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
